FISHING TOURNAMENT
OCTOBER 12, 2024
On October 12, 2024, the fishing tournament will take place! There will be fishing tournaments throughout the week that will take the Derby back to its roots as an actual weeklong contest.
Those weigh-ins will be at various locations throughout Savannah and will be announced accordingly via social media, with the main event weigh-in being on Main Street in front of The Savannah Market.
The Market will house food along with Mama Fia’s and The Hickory Pit within walking distance, alcohol vendor-Liquid Hitch, and live music featuring Trey Nichols, Ty Moore, and Cole Nichols sponsored by Music on Main beginning at 6 pm.
We are happy to see Bill Dance hosting The National Catfish Derby starting in 2024. This has been a long running conversation with The City of Savannah, HCCVB, and The State of Tennessee Department of Tourism and we are excited to have worked out the details in adding the Bill Dance Signature to the tournament!
The tournament weigh and activities are offered FREE to the public on October 12th.
